Heart & Soul of NYC

I spent the weekend in New York with my friends, since its a few hours from Montreal =) The sun was there and I really enjoyed it! Now that I've been to Montreal I think NYC is way too crowded for me, I like to walk in the streets and chill without people running everywhere and pushing.

 The Royal wedding was so adorable! It looked like an old cartoon. Even though I was annoyed by all the media attention I think the prince and princess are a good role model for our generation.
Hopefully they'll live happily ever =)

Just spent a great day enjoying the sun with my friends at the lake! We even got to take a tour at the luna park =)

Beyonce wants you to MOVE YOUR BODY

I wonder how many girls (or guys) lost weight dancing on Beyonce's songs... lol I wasn't surprised when Michelle Obama decided to team up with Beyonce on the "Let's Move" campaign to fight childhood obesity! Such a good spokesperson for youth ! Beyonce is one of the best role models of our generation.

Here's a re-written version of her hit Get Me Bodied, turned into an energetic dance routine!

Smart move! And hopefully it will help the kids to move! 

Food!!!!

Okay so I know you've noticed that I LOOOVE food! I like to try new places and this time I want to talk to you about a place I've been a few times now and that I really like. It's called the Barber Shop, and it's one of my favorite places to have brunch on sunday =) 

It's a nice place, cozy and trendy. The walls are decorated with graffitis, and street art with vintage items all over the place! Oh and there's a DJ playing for us =) What else? Every time I go there the place is crowded so you should make a reservation for groups...

I'll be there next sunday to enjoy my american brunch with egg and bacon muffins, grapefruit juice, pancakes and more!

Yesterday night I went out for drinks with my friends to a really cool place : Spaghetti Bar
It's nice for an afterwork, they play good music and have all types of Mojitos =)
++ Free pizza for happy hour ! Yay!
