Ecoconscious nail polishes can be hit or miss: We love them for forgoing chemicals but too often end up layering on another coat every couple days when they chip off. RGB combines the best of both worlds. The polishes are free of unnecessary additives — formaldehyde, toluene, DBP — but pack the lasting power and smooth, shiny finish of high-end lacquers. This month, the brand released three new shades for spring: Stone, an opaque dove gray; Beach, a sheer, translucent nude; and Coral, a neon orangey-red. Coral makes a splashy pedicure shade to offset summer sandals, while Stone (closer to an off-white than it appears here) offers a softer, spring-y alternative to the violet-tinged gunmetal shades of 2010
